2005 Autumn
Moon Festival
Sat. Sept. 17 6:00-9:00pm
Sharon DeLaCruz's Quilt display
The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is one of the most celebrated festivals
in Chinese culture. It takes place every year on the day of
the lunar calendar when the moon is at its brightest on this day in
Asia, millions of Chinese gather to feast, dance, light colorful paper
lanterns and eat moon cakes under the warm glow of the full moon.

$150. a yard?!?
Wow, It must be elegant stuff. I'm currently doing a marble tile floor
that costs $8 a tile and I'm kind of nervous with the cutting. You
must be sweating bullets with each scissor stroke. But then, you really
know your stuff. You'll make that fabric look like $300./yard.
